12/1/13: 
I have been making my own dinner if my parents are not home from work whenever I am at home.

15/3/13: 

I can now make more advanced meals such as steak.  Watching videos online is very important for improving cooking skills.

My cooking skills have vastly improved in the last few months.

Target review:  This target has been achieved.  My parents have commented on how I have improved and I often make meals now.  I will continue to watch videos and read books online to make sure I keep my skills up.
2.    ICT skills:

I have achieved a grade B in GCSE ICT and a grade B in AS-Level ICT.
I intend to improve my ICT skills by learning how to use Sumo Paint and Photoshop. Also become more familiar with Microsoft Office 2007 as I have not used it in the past.

Target/goal: To be able to use Sumo Paint and Photoshop without looking at a guide and to be able to use Microsoft Office 2007 as well as I could use Microsoft Office 2003.

Action points:
1.    I will speak to my teachers in the SRC and ask them for help or for Sumo Paint or Photoshop help guides.
2.    I will go to library (LRC) to get e-books and information from the Internet.

2/2/13: 

I can now use Microsoft Office 2007 very well. I can use Microsoft Office 2007 very well as I use it on a daily basis. 





4/3/13: 

My Photoshop skills have also improved thanks to using it in classes such as Digital Graphics and Multimedia Design.  Also watching videos online has helped.  There are some great tutorials that I can watch in my own time.




28/5/13:

 I can now easily use Adobe Flash to create animations. I learnt how to use this program in my Multimedia Design classes.  Again watching videos online at home, when I have time on my hands has really helped me improve.



3.    Good at golf
I intend to improve by playing at least once every week during the school year and most days over the summer.

Target/goal: To improve putting skills.

Making good Progress
17/4/13: 

I have been watching videos on you tube and playing golf on a regular basis. I am pleased to say that my putting skills have improved thanks to this.


30/4/13: 

My golf skills have improved further as I am now playing it at least 2 times every week. 

30/5/13: 

I am still playing 2 times a week and I am seeing further improvements. I have made plans to meet up with a friend every other day during the summer to play golf.

1.    Lazy
I intend to stop being lazy by getting a part time job after school and for the days I am off and also to get back into sport again.

Target/goal: Get a part time job and get back into sport.

12/3/13: 

I have applied for a few jobs but unfortunately did not get hired. I will complete application forms for other jobs which I will hopefully get. 

15/4/13: 

I also have not got back into sport yet as I have not had enough time due to other commitments. However, hopefully this summer I will be able to get involved in sport again. 

1/6/13:  

I hope to start playing golf competitively again this summer. I have also got a part time job for the summer.

Review:  I will try to use the skills I have learned in Communication and Employability about interviews and filling in CV's to get a job.  I think I have a better chance now.  I am not as lazy and I looking for jobs every chance I get.
2.    Handing in work on time
Target/goal: To improve handing in work on time.

Action points:
Write assignment dates on a calendar or put reminders on my phone so I know when I have to hand them in.

Achieved
24/1/13: I have been putting reminders on my laptop calendar which will pop up a few days before an assignment is due.

25/3/13: If I have an important assignment to hand in, I make sure that I put a reminder on my phone to make sure that I have it completed and ready to hand in. 

2/6/13: I have handed in all of my coursework before the 7th of June deadline.
3.    Organisation
Target/goal: To improve organisation.

Action points:
Put work into a folder and use file dividers to separate each of the subjects.
18/10/12

Achieved
15/12/12: I have created folders in my documents on my account for each subject. Within these folders are sub folders for each assignment.

20/3/13: Any worksheets that I have received have been put in a folder. Worksheets for one subject are separated from other subjects by file dividers. 

2/6/13: I have followed a timetable for the last 2 weeks so that I ensured that all of my coursework was completed on time.
